XTO Energy is already spilling again in 2025 - on the very first day of the year. XTO spilled 47 barrels — that’s almost 2,000 gallons — of toxic oil and gas waste in Eddy County, NM...epicenter of the Permian Basin, which is the most productive oilfield on planet Earth.

This spill happened on public land. And what’s worse is that it was caused by corrosion, which is entirely preventable when you properly maintain your equipment.
