Pollution in New Mexico is NO Joke.
There have already been almost 8,000 spills already this year, ranging from crude oil and toxic wastewater to methane and other climate-killing gas emissions.

Ask why has EOG Resources spilled so much already this year?
As of March 15th EOG reported 2,000 spills already this year, most of which were climate-killing methane emissions.
EOG spilled 382,323,000 cubic feet of natural gas between 1/1/25 - 3/13/25...enough to supply 5,344 homes for a whole year. This is atrocious.
Why is EOG spilling so much?
That’s a good question for Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, whose administration is charged with keeping climate-killing emissions at bay.
