🤬🤬🤬🤬 Project Jupiter wants approval to emit more pollution than Albuquerque and Las Cruces combined.

The data center proposed for southern New Mexico air permit applications show they would emit over 14 million tons of climate-warming gases every year.

That’s more emissions than the Four Corners coal plant.

they plan to build 41 natural gas turbines and run two fossil-fuel microgrids

They have split their project into two permits, each just under the 250-ton limit that would force tougher air monitoring.

This way a massive polluter gets treated like two “minor sources.”

👉Tell your legislator we cannot exempt data centers from New Mexico’s ETA emission reduction goals. Why should big tech get a free pass to pollute the communities where we live?

Doña Ana County already has a failing grade for ozone pollution. Adding this much new emissions means more asthma, more respiratory illness, and more strain on a region already overburdened.
