Just last month, XTO Energy – a subsidiary of Exxon Mobile – spilled 630 gallons of oil on public land in Eddy County, NM. The cause? Corrosion on a piece of equipment, which was preventable had XTO been taking care of its well site.

Follow @wildearthguardians and @nmclimatejustice for these spill updates and actions you can take to protect people, water, land, and air from oil and gas pollution.
