On September 12, 2024 XTO, a subsidiary of Exxon mobile spilled 630 gallons of crude oil on public lands in Eddy County, New Mexico.

There was NO news coverage. There were NO violations issued. There were NO fines.

There have been 1095 spills in New Mexico as of October 4, 2024.

How many have you even heard about?

Currently in New Mexico oil and gas companies do not need to disclose what chemicals they’re using in their operations, so we have no idea what’s in these spills that are contaminating our land and water.

November 12-15th there will be a hearing to ban forever chemicals and undisclosed chemicals in oil and gas drilling.

🙌Ways to take action are top links of our bio!

Please email the commissioners to support a ban on forever chemicals, PFAs in oil and gas drilling.
