Enduring Resources in New Mexico has spilled over 18,000 gallons of crude oil on public lands in the San Juan Basin of northwest New Mexico so far in 2024.

When Enduring reported these spills to the state, the causes they listed include “corrosion, human error, and failure”

These causes are entirely preventable - the only way something can corrode to the point of breaking is if you’re not paying attention.

Despite its poor performance, Enduring has its own Alex Campbell in leadership positions at both of New Mexico’s industry trade groups.

These groups wield a ton of influence over New Mexico politicians, which is why there’s so much oil and pollution permitted in the state.

We’re going to change that!
