When oil companies walk away, we are the ones who pay, with our tax dollars and our health.
According to Reuters, there are an estimated 3 million abandoned wells across the US.
Many groups such as @wildearthguardians and @healthygulf
fighting to get old wells plugged after companies abandoned them.
@healthygulf an amazing group of residents who monitor oil sites, hold people accountable for messes, and support their community.
